Agagu Describes Newly-Completed Projects in OAUSTECH as Masterpiece
The Honourable Commissioner for Education in Ondo State, Mr Femi Agagu has described the Newly-Completed Projects in Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State as Masterpiece. Mr Agagu stated this on Wednesday, 15th July, 2020 during an inspection visit to the University. According to him, the gigantic three newly- completed buildings which included the Main Library, the University Main Auditorium and the Administrative Building are well conceived.Mr. Agagu also visited the ongoing Engineering Workshop, Relaxation Centre by donated by Prof. Ogen and his friends, the University Eatery and TETFUND donated building among others. He noted that Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, would forever be remembered for completing the edifices during his tenure as the Executive Governor of the Sunshine State.Speaking further, he stated: "we're quite pleased and impressed with what we have seen.However, there is still need for finishing touches in some areas which we have pointed out for the attention of the contractors who handled the projects", Mr. Agagu hinted.The Commissioner observed that the Projects would have been commissioned since 21st March, 2020, but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.The commissioning would now be coming up at a later date yet to be announced. In Mr. Agagu's entourage was the Chairman, OAUSTECH Fund Raising Committee, Chief Ola Iwaeni.The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Roberts Ogunduyile, in his words of appreciation thanked Hon. Agagu for the visit and for his unwavering commitment to the development of the University.
